History on Tap
History on Tap number 2! Fires of Warroad. Enjoy a presentation on an in depth analysis of some important fires in Warroad’s past that has shaped how it looks today! Come to this free event at Lake of the Woods Brewing Co. Warroad on May 29th at 6pm!
Summer History Camp-2025
This week long camp is designed for kids ages 9-12. Each day is a 3 hour session where kids get to learn about a specific topic related to the history of the area along with doing an activity associated with it. 2025’s theme is Warroad in the beginning! Kids will learn about what life was like at the beginning of Warroad. Explore trapping, the railroads, logging and life on a homestead. On Friday, kids will enjoy a river canoe tour. The program will run June 9-13. Registration will be announced on May 5th through a Google Form.
This program is limited to the first 24 kids with a $20 fee for each child. This includes snacks and a Summer History Camp T-Shirt.
Kids will be dropped off and picked up at the Warroad Heritage Center or designated location.
Annual July 4th History Walk
Take a walk down historic Warroad and learn the history of the locations of present and past buildings. We have packed in the history of 20+ locations all within the 1 mile walk.

Season 4-Warroad History Trivia
Enjoy Warroad and Lake of the Woods based trivia at Lake of the Woods Brewing Company. Teams or individuals have 3 rounds to test their knowledge on the area’s past. Winners of the rounds receive 4 free drink tokens. At the end of the 3 rounds, a team is drawn at random to win a larger gift from Lake of the Woods Brewing Company. Trivia starts at 6pm and runs to about 8pm.
